Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 10, 2026

This policy explains what EliteSweet collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the controls you have. It applies to our mobile apps, our website at elitesweetmeet.com, and any related services (together, the “Service”). We designed EliteSweet to be private by default.

The Service is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 — see our Child Safety Standards.

1. Who we are

EliteSweet is the controller of your personal data. You can reach our privacy team at privacy@elitesweetmeet.com.

2. Data we collect, and why

EliteSweet collects the following categories of data. This list matches the Data safety disclosure on our Google Play store listing.

DataWhy we collect it
Email addressAccount creation, sign-in, and account recovery.
PasswordAuthentication. Stored hashed — we never store it in plain text.
Precise location (GPS)To show you nearby people and travel invites. We request precise (GPS) location; you grant it through your device and can revoke it at any time in your device settings.
PhotosYour profile pictures and albums, which are shown to other members.
Profile informationGender, age, city, bio, and interests — displayed on your profile.
Chat messagesTo deliver messages between members. Messages are retained so we can act on safety reports and moderate the community.
Device & usage dataPush notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging), crash and diagnostic logs, device identifiers, and basic analytics used to run and secure the Service.

We also collect an identity-verification selfie or ID when you verify your account (see section 4), and payment status from the Apple App Store or Google Play when you subscribe — we never receive your full card number.

Sensitive information

Some data we process may be considered sensitive under laws such as the GDPR — for example, information that reveals sexual orientation, or the biometric data used in verification. We process it only with your explicit consent, or where necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims and to keep the community safe. You may withdraw consent by deleting your account.

3. How we use your information

  • To create and operate your account and provide the Service.
  • To verify members and keep the community high-quality, authentic, and safe.
  • To recommend matches and personalize your experience.
  • To process subscriptions and prevent payment fraud.
  • To detect, investigate, and act on fraud, harassment, spam, illegal content, and violations of our Terms of Service.
  • To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
  • To comply with legal obligations, including our mandatory reporting duties described in our Child Safety Standards.
  • To send service messages, and — with your consent where required — marketing. You can opt out of marketing at any time.

4. Identity verification

Verification is what keeps EliteSweet real. When you verify, we may ask for a selfie or a government-issued ID, and we may use automated facial comparison to confirm the photo matches your profile. Verification imagery and any biometric identifiers derived from it are used only to confirm identity and detect fraud. We do not sell them, use them for advertising, or use them to train unrelated models. We delete the underlying images once verification completes, retaining only the result and a fraud-prevention signal, unless a longer period is required by law.

5. Legal bases for processing (EEA and UK)

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: contract — to provide the Service you signed up for; consent — for precise location, marketing, and sensitive data; legitimate interests — to secure the platform, prevent fraud, and improve the Service; and legal obligation — to comply with the law, including child-safety reporting.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

  • With other members: your profile — photos, bio, and the details you choose to publish — is visible to other members. Please think carefully about what you put in it.
  • With service providers: cloud hosting (Amazon Web Services), push notifications (Firebase / Google), plus analytics, customer support, content moderation, and identity-verification vendors — all acting on our instructions under contract.
  • For safety and law:with law enforcement, regulators, or the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), when required by law or necessary to prevent serious harm.
  • In a corporate transaction: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you.

7. International transfers

We may transfer and store your data in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where we move data out of the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile is removed from the platform, and your photos, posts, and comments are permanently deleted. Some data is kept only in a restricted form and only where the law allows or requires it — to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or prevent a banned user from returning — and no longer than necessary. Records related to child sexual abuse and exploitation are retained and reported as required by law. Residual copies in routine backups age out on our normal backup cycle. See our account deletion page for the full process.

9. Your rights and controls

In the app, you can at any time:

  • Edit or remove profile information and photos.
  • Control your visibility and who can see you.
  • Block and report other members.
  • Revoke location and notification permissions.
  • Export a copy of your data.
  • Delete your account permanently.

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data (we do neither). California residents have these rights under the CCPA/CPRA, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising them. To make a request, email privacy@elitesweetmeet.com. We may need to verify your identity first. EEA and UK residents also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.

10. Security

We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and ongoing monitoring to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — but if a breach affects you, we will notify you and the relevant regulators as the law requires.

11. Children

The Service is strictly limited to adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we learn that a minor has created an account, we remove it immediately. See our Child Safety Standards for our full policy, including our zero-tolerance stance on child sexual abuse and exploitation.

12. Our commitment

EliteSweet is a premium dating app for genuine connections. It is NOT a sugar dating or compensated dating app. We strictly prohibit compensated arrangements.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If the changes are material, we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
